The following WIC Foundations & Nutrition for Healthcare Providers course is designed to educate healthcare providers (HCPs) on the structure, purpose, and impact of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). This course helps HCPs understand WIC’s eligibility criteria, nutrition risk assessments, food package design, and the critical role healthcare professionals play in connecting families to WIC resources. Learners will gain the knowledge needed to effectively collaborate with WIC programs, support maternal and child nutrition, and improve health outcomes through early nutritional intervention.
