The following Sexual Harassment in the Workplace for Telehealth Providers is designed to educate healthcare providers (HCP) on workplace sexual harassment, its definitions, examples, legal protections, and strategies for prevention and response in both in-person and telehealth environments.

What you will learn:

• Definition and examples of sexual harassment in the workplace

• Quid pro quo harassment and hostile work environment standards

• Protected characteristics under federal nondiscrimination laws

• Responsibilities of employers, supervisors, and employees

• Steps victims and bystanders can take to respond and report harassment

• Federal laws and recent legislative updates addressing workplace harassment
