PWFA Compliance for Healthcare Providers Training helps healthcare providers understand what the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) is and provides learners the ability to recognize employee rights, employer obligations, and best practices for providing reasonable accommodations related to pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions in the workplace.
What You Will Learn:

Explain the purpose and key provisions of the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA).

Identify which employers and employees are covered under the law.

Differentiate the P.W.F.A. from related laws such as the PDA, ADA, FMLA, and PUMP Act.

Define “known limitation,” “qualified employee,” and “reasonable accommodation” under 29 C.F.R. §1636.3.

Describe the steps of the interactive process and documentation requirements for compliance.

Recognize prohibited employer practices, including retaliation and interference.

Apply PWFA principles to real-world healthcare scenarios to ensure legal and ethical workplace practices.
