OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standards Training for Veterinary Professionals

The following OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standards Training for Veterinary Professionals is designed to educate veterinary personnel on OSHA bloodborne pathogens standards to reduce occupational exposure in the workplace.

What you will learn:

• Identify key OSHA bloodborne pathogens terms and when the standard applies in veterinary settings

• Recognize job tasks that may involve occupational exposure and the purpose of the Exposure Control Plan

• Apply safe work practices, engineering controls, and PPE to reduce exposure risk

• Describe proper exposure response, hazard communication, waste disposal, and recordkeeping procedures

Once completed, you will receive a certificate of completion to verify you have finished the training. Course Length: 30 minutes.
