Multidisciplinary Care Teams Compliance Training

The following Multidisciplinary Care Teams Compliance Training is designed to educate healthcare providers (HCP) on the purpose, structure, and key characteristics of multidisciplinary care (MDC) teams in delivering coordinated, patient-centered care.

What you will learn:

• Identify legal and regulatory requirements, including HITECH, HIPAA-related safeguards, and best practices for protecting electronic health information

• Explain the principles of patient autonomy and informed consent, and apply ethical responsibilities in clinical decision-making

• Apply best practices for safeguarding protected health information (PHI), including secure communication, minimum necessary use, and handling sensitive cases

• Utilize standardized communication tools and professional collaboration strategies to improve teamwork, documentation, and conflict resolution within MDC teams

Once completed, you will receive a certificate of completion to verify you have finished the training. Course Length: 1 hour; CME: 1.
