Mini Fluoroscopy Safety and Radiation Protection Training

The following Mini Fluoroscopy Safety and Radiation Protection Training is designed to educate healthcare providers (HCP) on fluoroscopy and associated radiation risks.

What you will learn:

• Understand the purpose of fluoroscopy, how it is used in clinical procedures, and the associated radiation risks

• Recognize short-term and long-term radiation effects on patients and healthcare providers, including populations with increased sensitivity

• Apply core radiation safety principles, including ALARA, time, distance, and shielding, to reduce occupational and patient exposure

• Identify best practices for patient dose management, pediatric radiation safety, and regulatory compliance in fluoroscopy use

Once completed, you will receive a certificate of completion to verify you have finished the training. Course Length: 15 minutes.
