Mini Cybersecurity & HIPAA Overview Training for Healthcare Personnel

The following Mini Cybersecurity & HIPAA Overview Training for Healthcare Personnel (HCP) is designed to educate employees and management how to be compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) while outlining the privacy and security laws that prevent security breaches and ultimately, keep patient information safe from cyber attacks. 

What you will learn:

• HIPAA and PHI basics

• Recognizing common cyber threats and using safe practices when handling systems and PHI

• Responding appropriately to suspected breaches, ransomware events, and privacy incidents

Once completed, you will receive a certificate of completion to verify you have finished the training. Course length: 10 minutes.
