The following Iowa Sexual Harassment in the Workplace for Healthcare Providers training is designed to educate healthcare providers (HCP) on how to recognize, respond, and remove sexual harassment from the workplace.
Upon completion of this course, learners should be able to:
- Recognize workplace conduct that may constitute sexual harassment or retaliation when evaluating interactions in Iowa healthcare settings.
- Use established workplace policies and complaint procedures to respond appropriately when sexual harassment or discrimination concerns are raised.
What you will learn:
- Concept of sexual harassment and retaliation
- Examples of language and conduct that is considered prohibited harassment
- Transgender rights in the workplace and anti-discrimination policies
- Iowa sexual harassment policies
- Employer liability in harassment prevention
- How the employer can conduct an internal investigation
- How to file a complaint and the costs of harassment
Once completed, you will receive a certificate of completion to verify you have finished the training. Course Length: 1 hour.
