The following HIPAA Refresher Training for Telehealth Providers is designed to educate healthcare providers (HCP) on HIPAA Privacy, Security, and Breach Notification Rules, with a focus on telehealth practices.

• Protections for Protected Health Information (PHI) in telehealth care

• HIPAA compliance requirements for covered entities and business associates

• Security safeguards for electronic PHI (ePHI)

• Breach Notification Rule requirements and reporting obligations

• Enforcement and penalties for HIPAA violations
