First Aid Basics

The following First Aid Basics is designed to educate employees on how to provide basic first aid during emergencies.

What you will learn:

• Understand the purpose of first aid and the shared responsibilities of employers and employees in maintaining workplace safety.

• Recognize potential hazards, assess scene safety, and perform a basic emergency assessment before providing aid.

• Respond appropriately to common workplace injuries and medical emergencies within the limits of first aid training.

• Follow proper procedures for activating emergency services, reporting incidents, and documenting workplace injuries.

Once completed, you will receive a certificate of completion to verify you have finished the training. Course Length: 30 minutes.
