Conducting Abuse Investigations

The following Conducting Abuse Investigations is designed to educate healthcare providers (HCP) on recognizing, reporting, and responding to abuse-related allegations while supporting resident safety and regulatory compliance.

What you will learn:

• Recognize reportable abuse-related allegations.

• Protect residents during the response.

• Follow internal reporting requirements.

• Follow external reporting timelines.

• Gather facts and document findings.

• Preserve evidence and support corrective action.

Once completed, you will receive a certificate of completion to verify you have finished the training. Course Length: 60 minutes; CME: 1.
