The following Caring for LGBTQ+ Patients in Healthcare Settings course is designed to educate healthcare personnel (HCP) on how to properly treat members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer/questioning (LGBTQ+) community to provide the best care and avoid inequalities of care. 

Upon completion of this course, learners should be able to:

• Apply culturally competent approaches when providing care to LGBTQ+ patients in healthcare settings.

• Recognize factors that may affect the healthcare experiences and needs of LGBTQ+ patients.

• Use inclusive practices to support respectful, equitable, and patient-centered care for LGBTQ+ individuals.

Once completed, you will receive a certificate of completion to verify you have finished the training. Course Length: 1 hour.
