Canada: Asthma Health Emergency and Ryan's Law Training

The following Canada Asthma Health Emergency and Ryan’s Law Training is designed to educate healthcare providers (HCP) on recognizing, managing, and responding to asthma symptoms and emergencies in school settings, while understanding the legal responsibilities outlined in Ryan’s Law.

What you will learn:

• Common asthma symptoms, triggers, and early warning signs to ensure timely intervention

• Appropriate emergency response procedures during mild to severe asthma attacks

• Provisions and implications of Ryan’s Law in ensuring safe and inclusive school environments

• The healthcare provider's role in collaborating with schools and families to support effective asthma management strategies

Once completed, you will receive a certificate of completion to verify you have finished the training. Course Length: 1 hour & 15 minutes; CME 1.25.
