California Violence in the Workplace for Healthcare Employees

The following California Violence in the Workplace for Healthcare Employees course is designed to educate healthcare providers (HCP) on how to protect themselves and others from violence that occurs in the workplace. 

Upon completion of this course, learners should be able to:

• Recognize indicators of potential workplace violence to support timely prevention in healthcare settings.

• Respond appropriately to workplace violence emergencies using established workplace procedures.

• Apply California workplace violence prevention requirements within a healthcare organization’s prevention program.
