The following Aseptic Training for Veterinary Professionals is designed to educate veterinary professionals on the core principles of aseptic technique, infection prevention, and infection control in veterinary settings.
What you will learn:

Understand the core principles of aseptic technique and infection prevention and how standard precautions help protect animal patients, veterinary personnel, clients, and visitors.

Identify appropriate hand hygiene methods and apply them correctly based on the situation and level of infection risk.

Apply respiratory hygiene, masking, isolation, and animal placement practices to help reduce the spread of infectious diseases.

Recognize proper cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, wound care preparation, personal protective equipment use, and safe injection practices used to help reduce the risk of facility-associated infections in veterinary settings.
Once completed, you will receive a certificate of completion to verify successful completion of the training. Course Length: 45 minutes.
