The following After the Fall Response Training is designed to educate healthcare providers (HCP) on the common causes of falls in older adults.
Upon completion of this course, learners should be able to:

Apply a structured post-fall assessment to identify immediate safety concerns and determine appropriate next steps after an older adult falls.

Implement appropriate fall prevention and recovery strategies to support older adults following a fall and reduce future fall risk.

Providing first aid for injuries commonly associated with falls in older adults

Appropriate communication techniques to comfort an older adult after the fall
