The following After the Fall Response Training is designed to educate healthcare providers (HCP) on the common causes of falls in older adults.
What you will learn:
- Strategies to prevent falls among older adults
- Skills to assess fall situations quickly
- Providing first aid for injuries commonly associated with falls in older adults
- Appropriate communication techniques to comfort an older adult after the fall
- Rehabilitation process
