The following Mini Laser Safety in Surgical Practice Training is designed to educate healthcare providers (HCP) on the core principles behind maintaining a laser safe environment.
What you will learn:

Describe shared responsibility for maintaining a laser-safe environment across practice settings.

Identify laser-generated airborne contaminant (plume) hazards and the types of contaminants that may be present.

Practice core prevention behaviors: hazard assessment, wavelength-appropriate protective eyewear, controlled access/aligned optics, and written policies in laser areas.
Once completed, you will receive a certificate of completion to verify you have finished the training. Course Length: 15 minutes.
